I am experiencing the same problem on Manjaro Linux with DT 2.2.1.

Not on my system (only some Gtk warnings on DT startup).

I just exported 2 RAWs from a Canon PowerShot S120 and a Canon EOS 5D Mk
III to jpeg. Both were rated "3 stars" in DT.
Opening them in XMViewMP I see the following in the "ExifTool" tab for
both jpegs:
- XMP Rating = "0"
- Exif Rating = "3"

It seems the XMP Rating value is accidently overwritten with a zero
during export.
