Check with `lsmod` what modules are used. If you see radeon loaded, then
you can blacklist it by adding 'blacklist radeon' to
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Your current X.org log file should be /var/log/Xorg.0.log — that's where
one can check, which video module is in action.
