Under the same circumstances there is a clear slowdown when using the CPU, specially on big zoom changes. I'm assuming the 1050Ti will be better, so the difference with the 1060 should be imperceptible most of the time. The i5-3450 you have seems to be much slower than my CPU, so you should see a huge improvement with any card. The biggest difference will be on export, both between the cards and the CPU. How important it is will depend on the amount of exporting you do. I typically export only some dozens of pictures per week, if the total time is 5 or 15 minutes it doesn't make any difference for me. It is probably much more important for somebody exporting hundreds of pictures per day on a deadline.
