I've also been looking into this after my recent experience with Intel
GPU :(
And: I also tend to use the 1050ti - by Palit, because this is the only
reasonable fast GPU with passive cooling I could find.
I invested a lot of effort to get my workstation quiet so I don't want
to couteract this with several fans on a GPU ...
