I have tried all sorts of locales including LC_TIME, LANG etc... to no
avail.
With LC_TIME=C date is still displayed as *Sat 06/21/14 19:42:53* while
the date format used in the "Collect Images" view uses *YYYY:mm:dd* as
format. Just a bit confusing to me.
Just a wish: make the date format in the "Image Information" view
configurable by the user (darktablerc ?)
Cheers.

I still didn't find a workaround to this issue.
Any idea?
You can have it formatted differently like this:
LC_TIME=C darktable
However, that will not show the raw Exif string either.

Hi all,

MM/DD/YY, my pictures's date in the exif data is YYYY:MM:DD. This brings
a little confusion every time I want to read the date stamp in DT.
My question, as you have guessed it by now, is there a way to change the
way DT shows the date.
Cheers,
Jean-Luc
