*I don't want Darktable to do any sorting or grouping whatsoever for me*. I want to use it strictly as a RAW processor. KPhotoAlbum simply is really, really good for what I want to do. I don't want to rebuild metadata for 270,000 files. Period. > If film rolls or folders don't work - then just clear the search or > use tag or date... Reference https://rlk.smugmug.com/Photography/Darktable-screenshots/i-BWnbXLJ The first (bad) screenshot is where I did % darktable */img_*94.jpg with 186 different directories. The second screenshot is where I did % darktable *.jpg in a directory with 100 such files. I want it to look like the second one (all of the thumbnails showing up) regardless of what files I invoke it on. -- Robert Krawitz <[email protected]> *** MIT Engineers A Proud Tradition http://mitathletics.com *** Member of the League for Programming Freedom -- http://ProgFree.org Project lead for Gutenprint -- http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net "Linux doesn't dictate how I work, I dictate how Linux works." --Eric Crampton ____________________________________________________________________________ darktable user mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to [email protected]
