*I don't want Darktable to do any sorting or grouping whatsoever for
me*.  I want to use it strictly as a RAW processor.  KPhotoAlbum
simply is really, really good for what I want to do.  I don't want to
rebuild metadata for 270,000 files.  Period.

The first (bad) screenshot is where I did

% darktable */img_*94.jpg

with 186 different directories.  The second screenshot is where I did

% darktable *.jpg

in a directory with 100 such files.

I want it to look like the second one (all of the thumbnails showing
up) regardless of what files I invoke it on.
