Normally you should restart "darktable -d opencl" many times until the output looks like this, no errors compiling the kernels:

If you cannot enable opencl in the settings, redo the "multiple runs until all opencl kernels are compiled" stuff (can happen after darktable or macOS upgrades). hth mike Am So., 2.
