If you don't clip channels you capture data good enough for work. Having older sensor might be a problem, since they tend to produce more noise in darker areas but I would just overexpose a bit. Trying to get proper color rendition from old films is pointless. Dyes degrade and they do it at different speed. It will require further work anyway.
