Hello, It may happen that the date is not available, for instance because the camera was reset and the date / time not adjusted. Or because they were taken long ago, with a camera that did not embed the information. Or... ther may be so many reasons. :-( It is possible to do almost everything from within the database - I once succeeded in modifying the path to a series of photos. You could also use exiv2 (or even xnvew, if I am not wrong) to embed the information into the files (make a backup of them before, because this may alter your files in a way that further versions of dt are not able to read thepm anymore).
