Hello Dear Darktable, I am trying to download the latest update that is available from your site, and I am stuck with the enclosed unchecked boxes.
Could it be a protective option my end, either way I am unable to download the latest (I had 3.0 but was asked would I like to remove previous one in the process of downloading the latest version) Please help me. Following Simon's suggestion is a suitable workaround. However, Darktable does let you import a single image which effectively lets you "explore" system files and folders, opening only the desired images. On Linux, the tool I use to do what you describe is geeqie.
