In my darkroom layout the left hand panel is populated with snapshots, history, duplicate manager, color picker, tagging, image information, mask manager and export.
With duplicate manager open it displays a thumbnail of the current image and under it 2 buttons "duplicate" and "original". If I click duplicate it creates a new thumbnail with the same edits as the first. If I click original it creates a new image with only my "base" modules applied.
