I think that another similar proposal for enhancing this module was
allowing the snapshots be like clones, in the sense that the user would be
able to switch from the current processing to the one done in a snapshot,
and the history will be swapped. Also, it should allow generating a clone
from an snapshot, so both processing can be kept.
