The basic idea of this program is great.  But it has trouble with
finding lines.  FWIW, I've had serious problem with finding *long*
lines in one pice, i.e. running from one end of the picture to the
other.  And only such lines provide much information for the
optimizer algorithm.

I'd prefer if this program let you put manual control points on
straight lines.  This may not be as elegant, but it takes only three
minutes per picture, and it is reliable.  Fiddling with the
line-detection parameters takes much longer and is very frustrating.
At least for me.
