I have started using Dark table to convert a load of Pentax camera dng
and pef files. To keep the quality high I have set Dark Table to export
16 bit .tiff files. (This is the best software that I have ever found
for these files. I use the Amaze demosaic).

When using Dark Table on my Linux box the files are saved as bigendian
files - the first byte of the tiff file is set to 'MM'. When I go back
to a windows machine, understandably, most image software will not read
these files with Photoshop 2 being the only exception that I know of.

Is there a switch somewhere to get Darktable to use 'll' littleendian
.tiff files for use on a windows 7/ Intel box?

I once worked in a research lab where this was a constant problem since
we had Apple and Intel computers within the same project. Our company
software had a check selection box for Intel/Motorola file format.

My System :

AMD AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1100T Processor × 6 core, 4Gb ram, lots of disc
space, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS software on auto update.

Sorry if I have missed the blindingly obvious but I have searched the
manual and the software.
