I was also interested in the U2413, but then I found out, that it doesn't support VGA, which is important if you use kvm-switches and as always monitors in this class are known for series variance, especially Dell. Check forums and custom reviews at Amazon or newegg. The decision is not easy. My 2nd monitor is an Asus PB248Q (350€), the 1st monitor is a HP ZR24w. The PB248Q got the best note at http://www.prad.de/new/monitore/test/2013/test-asus-pb248q-summary.html?c=3&id=702 I am very happy with it. No dead pixels, althoug it is class 2. Menus are ok and compared to NEC better, if you change often. You can switch off the white power light, when the monitored is powered on. All possible cables are included. In the next days I will calibrate my monitors with a X-Rite ColorMunki Display. I think this is a must with 2 monitors. At the moment I see a difference between both monitors which is confusing with kdenlive. -- Αl ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get 100% visibility into Java/.NET code with AppDynamics Lite It's a free troubleshooting tool designed for production Get down to code-level detail for bottlenecks, with <2% overhead.
