Exactly. I could even write on to narrow down the list. This works of
nicely...

"Unfortunately", I use quite deep indexing, so I have quite long chains.
You can imagine some of them like indexing in biology, to give an idea.
Here is a simple example:

        Nature / Plant / Flowering / Red / Poppy

Given the fact that at the moment I use German indexing this makes
matters worse, as most words in German tend to be a bit longer than
their english equivalents:

        Natur / Pflanze / Blütenpflanze / Rot / Klatschmohn

Now, this is very nice for searches and plays very well with the
selection concepts of dt. So, selecting stuff once I have my chains is
pretty cool. But I admit, that typing

        Red

should definitely have all red flowering plants in the suggestions, as
otherwise such deep indexing is a bit cumbersome. Besides starting out
with "Nature" the list of suggestions is 301 entries in my current
vocabulary of 886 terms. (Red would still match 27 of which 22 are red
flowering plants, Red|P would narrow it to 3.)

I think this gives an idea of my problem with the current mode of indexing.
