Just a warning which Patrick did not mention. This is a nightly build,
meaning if I see something other than language translation files I will
upload a new build. That means you may encounter problems as some new code
break some stuff. If that is the case I suggest you raise the question
here in the darktable mailinglist, as this version is not officially
supported by opensuse, but if you think there is packaging problem feel
free to use opensuse bugzilla for this package.
Secondly, this version is with squish library enabled that means your
thumbnails are compressed, where as the official opensuse packages have
this disabled. (though sometime soon that would be available via packman
repos). If you switch back to official opensuse released darktable your
thumbnails can't be opened.
Other than these it is the same package and I am the maintainer of
darktable for opensuse.
