All,

Just a quick update with a work-around should anyone encounter the same
behaviour:

> Steps which I took to reproduce this issue:
> - I backed up all the .xmp's and removed the pictures from DT's Library
> again (on the laptop, the Desktop is completely inaccessible due to
> missing monitor and the BIOS trying to boot from the wrong disk (having
> just replaced a drive in my mirror))
> - Moved all the pictures out of the directory
> - Placed only DSC_7912_1.NEF & DSC_7912_1.xmp in the directory & import.
> This gives me the expected result: the settings are being applied and
> all is well in the world.
> - Add DSC_7912.NEF to the folder & import the folder again. This
> suddenly gives me 3 images while only 2 exist in the folder. I get the
> previously imported one with the proper settings, I get DSC_7912.NEF

Work-around (starting with an empty folder):
- Copy DSC_7912.NEF into the folder & import
- Copy DSC_7912_1.NEF & DSC_7912_1.xmp & import

This order gives the expected results, both pictures are imported and only
DSC_7912_1.NEF has the settings applied from DSC_7912_1.xmp.
