Make sure you are not seeing a weird effect from having wavelet chroma
noise reduction too high. I've spent hours in the past trying to get rid
of red or green dots, only to find out that if I set chroma wavelet noise
reduction back to zero and slowly moved it back up - the dots went away.
Also, don't forget to also find the right demosaic color greens and
smoothing settings for your camera as this can cause some similar issues.
