Your style would include a "watermark" which is an svg file.  You could
keep several watermark##.svg files and copy the needed one to
"watermark.svg" which would be named in your style, thus changing the
"caption".  But it would be necessary to generate the watermark##.svg
files via an svg editor.

Not quite as handy/quick as editing a text file, but ...
