I am using darktable 1.4.2 under Fedora 20 Linux. I somehow messed up one NEF image, and that might have been the source of my problems. I shows up in the darktable image display as a black and white symbol which looks like an abstract jeep from the front.
The problem was that every time I tried opening darktable, it would sit there unresponsively until it would crash. Running it from a command line in a terminal didn't say anything but "core dumped". Thinking my messed up image might have something to do with the problem, I removed it from the directory containing the folder I was working on. Now I can apparently open darktable with the relevant folder, so the problem may have been resolved. But for some strange reason, although the offending image is no longer in that directory, it still shows up in the display of images. Can anyone give me some idea of what might be going on. -- Leonard Evens [email protected] Professor Emeritus, Department of Mathematics, Northwestern University ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Comprehensive Server Monitoring with Site24x7.
