There has been only one break and that was a Radeon HD 7750 which I traded in for my now Nvidia K2000, to do video editing. Since this version 14.04 there is nothing but problems and not only with me. Now That I have it temporally running again I did a speed comparison with a NLE with Windows 7 vs Ubuntu 14.04 there is a world of difference in speed. Windows Shader Performance 177549.92fps Playback 274.54fps Render 202.7fps Ubuntu Shader Performance 7256.44fps Playback 132.9fps Render 60.66fps I am not sure if this is a valid comparison. The 500$ Quadro K200 with 2GB of ram runs at about the same speed for the 100$ Radeon HD 7750 Something is definitely not right.
