I can do that but we're talking about ubuntu 14.10.
If you update, you will see that they removed libosmgpsmap-1.0-0-dev.
Now there a packages called libosmgpsmap-dev and libosmgpsmap2.
Both are installed.

-- checking for module 'osmgpsmap-1.0'
--   package 'osmgpsmap-1.0' not found
-- Map mode: disabled, please install libosmgpsmap
