I think that the only remaining problem (or has it been fixed for 2.0)? 
Is that this is an all-or-nothing setting.

I mean, I have some lens that is not correctly recognized automatically. 
If I set the lens, then I have to set the FL too, because now on copy 
and paste *all* parameters will be set. It would be nice to have 
"groups" of things that can be left on automatic --- even if I 
understand that the correct fix would be to correctly detect the lens 
(but otoh, it will not happen with *all* the lenses *all* the time)...

Anyway, the new behavior is greatly better than the old one --- thanks!
