If you have a good GPU, then the CPU is secondary. Take a good one, but
don't put all your money in it.

You can live with 8 GB, but at least, make sure you have extra slots to
extend it later. I just bought 16 extra GB for ~100€, it'll take a while
before I start wanting more RAM ;-).

A good GPU does speed up dt a lot. But you do need a good one (> 1GB of
graphics RAM, good floating point performance), and integrated ones are
usually not good enough. A bad graphics card will be slower than your
CPU, hence totally useless for dt. An average one will be barely better
than your CPU, and won't be worth the money.

The greatest advantage of SSD is fast access time, very useful when you
have a lot of small files to read (typically speeds up boot a lot). It
won't make a huge difference for dt (especially if you have a lot of
RAM).
