Indeed, I had seen that in the release notes, and testing it is definitely on 
my to-do list. I actually have a set of 800 images taken without the Ramperpro 
(only the auto exposure of the camera) that are a good test-case. They 
correspond to a sunrise, which is a typical scenario where the Ramperpro 
shines. I prepared the timelapse as-is and flickering is obvious. I corrected 
the exported JPGs with timelapse-deflicker perl tool 
(https://github.com/cyberang3l/timelapse-deflicker), and flickering is reduced. 
And now I must try the automatic mode of DT 2.0 and compare!

Actually, you can do that natively in darktable :) 
Using mode = automatic in exposure module.
