Ah, indeed, 301affb is a commit done yesterday, so I guess the 1.7.0 it
wrong. I saw something about unbreaking the version string in the commit
log, might be related.

Using a development version for real work is at your own risk, but at
least the risk might be worth the trouble if it's a recent one ;-).
