Have a look at the services and the MSSQLServer service startup properties
and it will be probably running with your user name and the old password.
Change it to the new password or to log on as System Account and try
starting the service.

Further to this, I just remembered that I had also copied the .mdf and .ldf
of one of my databases to newnames in the same directory (so that I had a
new database), I then noticed that SQL7 gave an error when I started it, so
I deleted the new files....  That probably broke it...  (although sql7 was
still running for most of the day untill I re-logged in)...

Anyway got any ideas?
