Interbase runs on a lot of platforms other than windows. Solaris, AIX, and
SCO came to mind. As for commercial DB, it was for data logging, I think.
Its all on the web site - or it used to be,until they put that ultra-ugly
opensource site up (come on people - I dont think I could make it that bad
if I _tried_, and I'm no artist!)
