Okay, we continued the discussion offline, so just to summarize for anyone 
running into similar problems: It seems the hanging issue was 100s of databases 
available that DC is scanning for tables, which takes quite a lot of time.

If possible, we'll be doing this in a lazy way, so they only get scanned once 
the user tries to access them. It may take a bit of restructuring though, so 
until then a workaround is probably to use a login with access limited to the 
data that is relevant.

Jordan, does that summary correctly reflect your experience?
