Hi, To all

Just attended the last GEOBLR meetup at Bangalore Last week.

I had not dared (or say inclined) to edit OSM so far.

After the meet I decided to give it a try.

I liked the Idea of "local knowledge prevails" that was discussed in the
meetup.
So decided to check my locality. Dwarka sector 13 in New Delhi.

I noticed there were some roads with a median where both sides showing same
directions.
I corrected them. It was easy.

Then I noticed that many of the service roads in Dwarka are missing.

Dwarka is a newly developed ( and am proud to say well developed) sub city.

Most of the residential societies / institutions (there are many) are
served by service roads, parallel and adjacent to the main road.
These areas do not connect to the main road directly.

So if the service road is missing then all information to and from the
colony gets wrong.
Just added the service road in front of my society.
I will try to add these roads once I am back in Delhi.

Now the question to the experienced people here.

What are the different possible workflows including possible use devices
 to accomplish this task.
So far I only know manual drawing. How about importing say KML or any other
format.

Thanks in advance.

Dilip Damle
