Welcome to the mapping club :)

Some easy to use mobile tools to map on the move:
- Maps.me - Offline routable maps with POI editing http://maps.me/en/home
- Mapillary - Crowdsourced streetview with OSM integration https://www.
mapillary.com
- OSMAND - Full featured and more complex mobile map editor
http://osmand.net

Importing existing shapes into OSM is discouraged without doing a full
audit of the data source and the quality
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Import

The safe way to do this is to upload your data to create a custom layer
over OSM using https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/ or Mapbox to compare whats
missing on OSM and what needs to be added.

Have any particular data that you are interested in importing?
