i am neutral to the idea since there is so much still to be done and don't
want to create more noise to already available information, found this
website https://helpwithcovid.com/  for folks who are still looking to
contribute

on a personal level i  work on  https://github.com/dimagi/commcare-hq , and
will be looking for volunteers https://www.dimagi.com/covid-19/ soon once
the contact tracing starts

Following https://www.tracetogether.gov.sg/ so that they may make it open
source, overall i still feel Mobile apps and tech may not be the only
solution.
