Thanks to everyone for their suggestions, and in particular Bren for
your phone call and posting my ISP problem - now cleared but still a
mystery!! I could not get on line at all and none of their contact
phone numbers were working, however all seems to be working normally
again. Ralph, your suggestion of using DPMouse's facility of ASCII 249 seems ideal - I've tried a test and it does just what I need. The situation with this database is still somewhat in flux - we have taken over the subscriptions & advertising for our village magazine from a lady who did the job for the last 10 years but most of her information is in her head, a scribbled notebook or on scraps of paper! There is very little structure and new problems keep arising. In fact there has been a change since my initial request for help with the Selective Link problem: it seems we now need separate panels for Advertisers' & Subscribers' payment details so Ralph's DPMouse's ASCII 249 idea has allowed me to set up two panel links, one of which only works for Advertisers, the other only works for Subscribers and neither works for those who receive a Free copy. Thanks again all, Michael Ralph Alvy wrote: On Wednesday August 16 2006 1:46 pm, Tim Rude wrote:Michael, |
