You need to be careful that there are not commas in the text of what you're exporting. My experience is that regardless of how the convention is supposed to work, the comma in the text, even if the text is surrounded by quotes, screws things up. When I find that this is an issue I use another set of delinators (sp?) to separate fields, search and replace commas in the text, then replace the delinators. Does this help?
There is an option in the built-in reports that does much the same and you can set your own delinators there as well.

That is a good point about the embedded commas. I usually don't worry about those, but probable should.
Going to the SaveAs option in WP12, the following are listed:
ANSI (Windows) Delimited Text
ANSI (Windows) Generic Word Processor
ANSI Windows Text
ASCII (DOS) Delimited Text
ASCII (DOS) Generic Word Processor
ASCII DOS Text
My guess is since DP predates Windows, that the DOS output is ASCII rather than ANSI, so I would have to use the DOS or OS/2 input choice in the Access import.
