Hi Colin,
Fatherhood is going very well... I have cut my official working days to 3
days a week, and look after the boy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, well.. at
least, that is the theory. In reality I get up very early and go to bed
very late those days...
Glad you picked up my deliberate typo with the 0.09 -> 0.00 :-) That
was to see if you were watching ...
You seem to be getting the output from HZZZ.Z9 that I would expect from
GZZZ.Z9 I presume this is being output on a standard screen or print
report...
It's really curious because one of the things I love about DP is that it is
totally predictable... I have just been going through the nightmare of
upgrades from some very complex Access 2000 applications to Access 2003, and
you would not believe the seemingly minor variations that have taken hours
to fix and workaround... Fortunately the data part seems to all be fine,
its just variations in the interface elements, in code that has worked
flawlessly for 7 years... Whenever DP does something unpredictable it has
been because I screwed up...
Bye
Brian

Hi Brian,
Yes I've been trying to sort this out for a few hours - here's my info
below - Your output is what I would expect to happen apart from typo (0.09
as 0.09)
Report Variable 155
Field Format: HZZZ.Z9

Hi Colin,
Are you sure the HZZ9.Z9 or HZZZ.Z9 doesn't work?
For me with 2.6x the format "HZZ9.Z9" causes the display of :
48.90 as "48.90"
48.09 as "48.09"
48.00 as "48.00"
0.90 as " 0.90"
0.09 as "0.00"
0.00 as " "
0 as " "
Regards
Brian
