Hi, Yes Win 7 64 Bit can run VMWare to run a Windows XP session and DP and WordPerfect all can run in that session, it works well.
However, my preference is for running DP and WP inside of a VMWare Windows 98 or Windows 95 guest operating system, as these load up in no time flat on the hardware that can run Win 7. They load so blisteringly fast that you will wonder why you are not still using them :-) Bye Brian -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ralph Alvy Sent: Friday, 23 July 2010 12:45 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Dataperf] DataPerfect on Windows 7 64-bit Are you sure you can't run DP in a VMware XP window that runs inside Windows 7 64-bit? By the way, VMware offers a free VMware Player, so it won't cost any thing to try this, other than making sure you have a copy of XP to install in your VMware Player window.
