Charlie, Gmane is a free utility that redirects mailing list messages (such as the DP Users Group) into a newsgroup that can be read with a NNTP reader. Outook Express (which comes with Windows) includes a built-in newsreader and works fine with it.
It takes just a little bit of tinkering to get it set up, but then all of the DP messages show up as newsgroup posts. And as we've seen, much faster than email. As Brian just posted, here's the gmane link to the DP Users Group info: http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.comp.db.dataperfect.general Another cool benefit of the gmane interface is that they have all of the messages archived back to 4/12/2006. So once you sign up and retrieve the messages with your newsreader, you can easily go back to prior messages. Tim Rude "Charles G. Wolf" <[email protected]> wrote in message news:[email protected]...
