That is curious.

I've had varying results with PCL5 vs PCL6 drivers on HP printers
(though not related to DPSpool). PCL5 drivers sometimes seem to print
faster. But PCL6 drivers often make more printer features available. And
sometimes there will be a non-PCL driver for the specific printer if you
go to HP's site that will provide much faster output, but has coding to
detect non-OEM or expired print cartridges and prevent printing. Fun
stuff.

at home is an HP universal PCL6 driver and the one in the office was an
