Hi Marcos,

I would turn the read cache off at the client to see if that makes a
difference. But read caches of the network client are less likely to cause
the problems you are experiencing. 

I suspect the these caches are only for the local file system anyway

We have two caches written by FreeDOS discussion group members:
LBACache and UIDE (by Eric Auer and Jack Ellis respectively).
They only cache reads, not writes. Do you recommend turning them
off anyway?
