Hi Don Until VDos I have been running DP with a WinXP guest unver VMWare. There is a lot of weight in a VM, however VDos seems to scream along.

At the moment I'm running DP on WinXP in VMware player, in a Win7 64 bit system. All the shortcuts I am accustomed to using work except for the alt-tab program shift out of DP - it works to shift into DP. My biggest concerns are the cut and paste functions, which work well. The VMware WinXP box can be full screen if desired. I use a slightly smaller window because it makes it easy for me to switch into other programs with a mouse click, and with a 22" screen, I still get a good clear DP interface. The biggest problem I face is that opening the virtual machine is slow. A secondary problem is that the virtual machine is a bit less stable than most programs, which may mean exiting and rebooting the virtual window. With DP you don't lose any data in that, though. Someone mentioned that with Win7 professional you can run a program in XP mode. I've just been looking into that; it is also apparently a virtual machine, but might be more stable and faster being native to Windows. It's not clear that you can run DP on it, though, so far.
