Alan,

We are working on an update to the VPSS drivers to give access to the
H3A, resizer and previewer features. These are planned for
availability in the latter half of 1Q07 on the MontaVista Zone for
licensed DVSDK customers.

Regards,

Thom

Subject: RE: image codec on DaVinci EVM

Chris,

so based on your explanation and my looking-around in
the codec directory, is it correct to say that i can
code like those examples (copy_image, scale, etc) to
use the CE VISA APIs like the way it is being used? It
is basically ir-relevant to 3 pre-built Codec Servers.
Furthermore, a related question, how can I use all the
nice VPSS, particularly, VPFE (video processing
front-end) functionality, like histogram previewer,
resizer, H3A? Which VISA APIs are exposed to be used
by application programmer from ARM side? thanks much,

alan
