Hi all,

First of all I'm a newbie!

Here is the background of my problem: I want to measure the Linux kernel interrupt latency and for that purpose, I would like to connect a pulse generator to the IO Expansion Connector of the DM6467 Board in order to let a GPIO trigger an Interrupt to the ARM CPU, which in turn generates a signal that can be captured by an oscilloscope (from another GPIO configured as output). I've found out that the mate connector to the I/O expansion one is the QHT-060-01-L-D-A-K from Samtec Inc. and I've been told that i have to compose an extension board with the mate connector on it, in order to connect the pulse generator to the davinci board. Since I don't have any clue how to do it, I would be pleased, if one could give me some advice. Maybe someone has done this before and knows how to proceed or has another idea how to access the GPIOs with less complexity.

depending on how daring you are, you could just solder two wires to the PCB and forget about the connector + expansion board. We did that on an EVM where we ordered the wrong connector and had to hurry.
