Dave, I am working on the dm355 evm audio.
We were waiting for the nfs to work so that we can test the audio thoroughly. I will get back to you on this as early as possible. I'm curious whether someone is working on the dm355 and evm support for two a/v codecs in (or soon to be in) mainline: - sound/soc/codecs/tlv320aic3x.c ... this is the audio codec on the board, but sound/soc/davinci seems to not have support for the dm355 ASP (just McBSP). Which of course makes it hard to imagine board glue hooking up the codec to the ASP ... - drivers/media/video/tvp514x.c ... this is the video input decoder, taking S-Video or composite. Very new, not yet in linux-next; V5 patch posted Friday. I'm guessing this needs similar DM355-specific support: VPFE (which might hook up to alternative imager HW), and board support. I'd kind of expect the audio is closest to working just now ... but mostly, I'm just curious when that support will be in a more current (than 2.6.10) kernel. - Dave _______________________________________________ Davinci-linux-open-source mailing list [email protected] http://linux.davincidsp.com/mailman/listinfo/davinci-linux-open-source_______________________________________________ Davinci-linux-open-source mailing list [email protected] http://linux.davincidsp.com/mailman/listinfo/davinci-linux-open-source
