Dave, Yes . The dm6446 EVM support should almost work for the dm355 once resource naming/addressing issues get sorted out.
McBSP is the device used not only for audio and also for other purposes like communicating with SPI devices etc, But on dm644x it was used for audio purpose and hence the name ASP. On a closer examination, it looks like that "McBSP" support is really ASP support, and the dm6446 EVM support should almost work for the dm355 once resource naming/addressing issues get sorted out. I think I observe deep confusion in the vicinity of the current <mach/mcbsp.h> header. It's mostly irrelevant for DaVinci ... and that's on top of using entirely the wrong name ("not ASP") for the device!! What's up with all that? - Dave _______________________________________________ Davinci-linux-open-source mailing list [email protected] http://linux.davincidsp.com/mailman/listinfo/davinci-linux-open-source_______________________________________________ Davinci-linux-open-source mailing list [email protected] http://linux.davincidsp.com/mailman/listinfo/davinci-linux-open-source
