This may be irrelevant question here but I am trying to seek help from some
body who worked with Websphere and DB2 UDB can guide me in right direction
The environment setup
The Websphere 3.5 is running one server (Windows NT 4.0) and it has it�s
local default WAS database. It is connecting to UDB database located on (AIX
) to serve the requests.
We backup UDB located on AIX sever everyday at night, we take the backup
after we force all applications. Because of this the webserver gets
communication error for the connected applications.
For which we tried to stop and start the �IBM WS AdminServer service� and
while starting we get the following error. � The IBM WS AdminServer service
returned service specific error 10.�
This error goes off, gets cleared when we restart the websphere server, I
don�t know why and what is getting cleared by doing restart.
We tried to seek the IBM services and it is so helpful in resolving it.
Please pass on all you suggestions.
