Actually, you'll need DB2 Connect client or DB2 UDB/EE on the
websphere node to talk to the other websphere node. To the best of my
knowledge, this is the only way that websphere can talk to its
repository that is located on another server. Otherwise the local
websphere has no way of finding its repository (WAS database).
