Myron:
To connect to DB2 databases on Unix/NT from Unix /NT you do not need DB2
Connect. All you need is a DB2 Client (CAE, Runtime client or Admin Client).
As far as I know DB2 Connect is required only for host connectivity (OS/390,
AS/400).
