Hi all,
I am running UDB7.1 on NT4.
Sometimes when I browse the Database connections from the control centre,
I get the following error message with the DB2 error code DBA4735E :
A problem occurred when trying to attach to the database instance.
smcode: "-35".
The explanation of the DBA4735E :
DBA4735E A problem occurred when trying to attach to the
database instance. smcode: "<Error code>"
Explanation: See the Administration Server error logs for more
information.
User Response: Contact your technical service representative
with the smcode.
I can attach to the database instance using the command window.
I tried to look into the db2diag.log but couldn't find the clues.
I will appreciate if someone could tell me what would be the possibly cause and what
is the smcode .
