Do is for update, delete, etc... queries, where prepare/execute is for
select queries. You should also use prepare/execute for update queries if
you are using placeholders.

Subject: Difference between do and execute?

Hello all,

Can someone explain what the difference is between using "do" and
"execute"?
I understand their general purpose, but why would I want to use one
over
the other, and it what situations?

Thanks,
Kevin
